Frozen Food Manufacturer and seeking a detail-oriented Materials Planner to optimize our supply chain operations and inventory management. This role is essential, requiring precise and efficient material handling such as manufacturing, production, and logistics to ensure the correct quantity of materials are available at the right time to meet production demand. The ideal candidate is preferred with experience working in a manufacturing company. This position will primarily work in an office environment but may need to work in the warehouse or enter the production plant as needed. Responsibilities • Inventory management Maintaining detailed inventory levels of materials and supplies by using inventory management software (WMS/ ERP) to track material flow and finished goods. Identifying and resolving discrepancies between inventory records and stock levels included coordinating with warehouse staff work on cycle counts. Manage materials effectively to ensure timely availability for production and assist the order fulfillment process including monitoring work in process and verification on shipment document. Coordinate logistics activities related to inventory procurement, storage, and distribution • Forecasting and planning Develop and execute inventory management plans to meet production schedules including bill of material issuance for production and control material usage. Developing strategic planning on stocking level to meet sales demand. Preparing detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce wastage and inefficiencies in the material flow. Prepare regular reports on material usage, status, and procurement. • Communication & Coordination Coordinate with other departments to forecast future material needs based on production schedules and orders. Keeping track of shipment details and changes in the delivery and ordering process. Collaborate with production teams to assess product specifications and requirements. •

Quality Control:

Inspect incoming and outgoing inventory for quality and damages. Ensure all material compliance with industry standard and safety regulations. Skills Proven experience in material management or related field is required. Strong proficiency in database management and/or relevant enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and MS office. Strong understanding of logistics operations Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills. Capability to operate independently and as part of a team. Forklift operation certification is a plus. Spanish is a plus.

Education:

- AA or BS degree or equivalent ( Recommended)
