POSITION SUMMARY
The Operations Logistics Coordinator will provide pivotal support in ensuring the seamless coordination and execution of a diverse range of transportation and calendar needs. This position collaborates closely with all departments to orchestrate events, manage staffing requirements, and oversee the rental process for all facilities. This role requires enthusiasm, proactivity, and an outstanding communicator who delivers incredible customer service, organization, collaboration, leadership, and team development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES MASTER CALENDAR
Manage a master facilities calendar for on-campus events, utilizing all available indoor and outdoor spaces Note that all off-campus events require coordination of activities on and off campus Coordinate tasks and activity requests for the Events Team to support and facilitate onsite meetings Lead the post-event evaluation and feedback process Create a plan to implement changes and improvements to future events based on feedback and collaboration with impacted departments on campus Communicate proactively and accurately, both verbally and in writing Coordinate with the Operations team to create work orders for tasks created through facility requests within the Master Calendar
TRANSPORTATION
Schedule and assign school-owned vehicles to support all Orange Lutheran programs and events Maintain up-to-date records of those approved to drive school-owned vehicles Arrange for repairs and alternate transportation for school-owned vehicles Arrange for the training of individuals to qualify them as California Certified School Bus drivers eligible to transport students on school-owned vehicles; monitor and evaluate performance; assist in resolving problems Seek new ideas and technologies to improve transportation coordination and facilitate operational safety for students during school-provided transportation to and from Orange Lutheran activities and events Review and schedule regular maintenance for school-owned vehicles, meeting best practice requirements for optimal vehicle safety and performance Establish and maintain an operation manual, files, and records of inventory and expenditure control, operational processes, and preventative maintenance programs Analyze transportation needs for upcoming events and determine the optimum scheduling of outside transportation Provide advice on pupil transportation needs, problems, issues, or concerns Participate in budget planning and maintenance of expenditure control Maintain policies, procedures, and better practices for transporting students in private vehicles by parent or Lutheran High School faculty and staff Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current California Department of Education and Vehicle Code regulations for student transportation

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
