Our team-oriented, patient-focused environment is at the heart of everything we do. Job Summary We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented, motivated n-Office Cardiology Front Office Schedule Coordinator to join our team. This position is crucial to maintaining efficient operations within our busy cardiology practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical office scheduling, patient communication, and insurance verification. You will be responsible for managing and filling the schedules of multiple physicians and physician assistants; making patient reminder and scheduling calls; and verifying patient benefits. This role requires strong time management skills, excellent phone etiquette, and a solid understanding of office management practices. Among other things, care for our patients and other staff is critical
Responsibilities Schedule Management :
Efficiently manage and fill the schedules for multiple physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners to ensure optimal patient flow and minimal downtime
Patient Communication :
Make outgoing calls for appointment reminders, scheduling, and follow-up
Insurance Verification :
Verify patient insurance benefits, ensuring accuracy of coverage for appointments and procedures
Patient Coordination :
Work closely with patients to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and address scheduling conflicts
Documentation :
Accurately input patient information and appointment details into the electronic medical records (EMR) system
Collaboration :
Communicate with medical providers and office staff to ensure smooth coordination of patient care
Customer Service :
