This role is critical in ensuring that projects move through the shop floor smoothly, materials are in place ahead of schedule, and delivery commitments are met. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting—especially in make-to-order (MTO) or engineer-to-order (ETO) environments—and is confident in coordinating multiple moving parts while keeping stakeholders aligned. What You'll Do Build and maintain detailed production schedules covering all phases of work (cutting, milling, outside processing, assembly, and final readiness). Spot bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the process and propose practical solutions. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Production Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline. 5+ years of experience in production planning or scheduling, ideally in a low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment (fenestration experience a plus). Familiarity with BOMs, routings, and manufacturing processes. ERP/MRP expertise; NetSuite experience preferred. Strong Excel skills with a knack for data-driven decision making. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with sharp attention to detail. Effective communicator who can work cross-functionally with multiple teams. Ability to manage several custom projects at once in a dynamic environment. Exposure to CAD drawings and customization processes. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Just-in-Time (JIT) principles. Core Competencies Attention to detail Time management Collaboration and teamwork Customer-focused mindset Adaptability and sound decision-making
