Position Description You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the Sustainment Group, Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul Dept., Weapons Sustainment Support Div., Weapons Sustainment Support Branch, of
NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Position Duties/Responsibilities You will provide direct fleet support and oversight for all weapons programs supported and will work directly with
NAVAIR/NAVSEA
weapons programs to ensure all weapons support requirements are met. You will ensure all designated personnel are properly trained and qualified to perform all aspects of weapons maintenance safely and effectively, as applicable, in accordance with (IAW) governing directives. You will identify, forecast the budgeting for, and schedule necessary training, and, as required, will implement relevant, well defined Personal Qualification Standards (PQS) and/or Job Qualification Standards (JQR) for assigned personnel. You will identify, procure, and manage required tools, materials handling equipment, vehicles, parts, support equipment, and test equipment, to ensure weapons maintenance requirements are accomplished IAW cost, schedule, and performance requirements.
