is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Transportation Operations Coordinator to support the daily coordination of freight transportation and logistics activities. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient shipment scheduling, maintaining communication with customers and carriers, and supporting operational excellence across the transportation network. Responsibilities Coordinate daily freight shipments and transportation schedules to ensure timely pickups and deliveries Communicate with drivers, brokers, customers, and carriers regarding shipment status and scheduling updates Monitor load progress and proactively resolve transportation delays or operational issues Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation, invoices, rate confirmations, and operational records Assist with dispatch activities, route planning, and load optimization Track key performance indicators and prepare operational reports for management Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and transportation safety standards Support billing, customer service, and administrative logistics functions Collaborate with internal departments to improve transportation efficiency and service quality Requirements Previous experience in transportation, logistics, dispatching, freight coordination, or supply chain operations preferred Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, email systems, and transportation management software Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities Professional attitude with a strong customer service focus Preferred Qualifications Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), DAT Load Board, Truckstop, or similar logistics platforms Knowledge of DOT regulations, freight operations, and carrier management Experience with shipment tracking, routing, and logistics reporting Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish or Russian) is a plus Pay & Benefits Competitive pay: $24 - $31 per hour Performance-based bonuses Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and company holidays Professional development and career advancement opportunities Stable, supportive, and team-oriented work environment Why Join
