Schedule:
Full-Time We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laboratory Receiving & Shipping Associate to support a high-volume laboratory operation. This role is responsible for receiving, sorting, staging, and preparing inbound and outbound shipments while ensuring materials are handled according to established procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with offloading inbound shipments at the loading dock
  • Sort incoming shipments by temperature requirements (ambient, refrigerated, frozen, and combination shipments)
  • Process and handle temperature monitoring devices according to procedures
  • Inspect, sort, and stage incoming laboratory shipments
  • Move containers, bins, and materials throughout the facility
  • Report shipment discrepancies, damaged shipments, or empty containers
  • Prepare shipping containers and packaging materials for outbound carrier pickups
  • Collect and manage dry ice bins and shipping supplies
  • Assist laboratory departments with preparing outbound shipments
  • Assemble, package, label, and stage shipments for courier and carrier pickup
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all company quality, safety, and operational procedures
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or laboratory support preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic computer skills preferred
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work around temperature-controlled shipments, including refrigerated and frozen materials
