Job Description

Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing is seeking a Material Planner to join their team. As a Material Planner, you will be part of the Materials Planning Department supporting production and logistics teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

$36•$43/hr.
Shift:
8AM•5PM Monday•Friday What's the Job? Supports all raw and packaging materials purchased for manufacturing and packaging processes. Manages logistics to ensure a smooth, efficient supply chain across all sites. Releases materials to support detailed production schedules and verifies distribution requirements plans. Reviews and validates raw and packaging component shortages, taking necessary actions to release purchase orders. Analyzes demand forecasts, sales trends, and customer service strategies to optimize inventory and procurement activities. What's Needed? A four-year college or university degree or equivalent experience. Two to five years of related experience in production scheduling, materials, or inventory planning. Knowledge of MRP systems, database management, and forecasting techniques. Proficiency with spreadsheet, Office, email software, and manufacturing cost systems.
