About the Role BCFoods is seeking an experienced Inventory Planner to join our team. Key Responsibilities Work with Sales, Quality Assurance, Customer Service, Inventory Management, Logistics, Purchasing, Finance, and Manufacturing to identify and resolve inventory and supply issues. Maintain and update Item Master data to support accurate inventory planning, purchasing, and reporting. Review sales forecasts, customer demand, inventory levels, open purchase orders, and supplier lead times to maintain adequate product availability while minimizing excess inventory. Create and evaluate inventory reports to identify trends, shortages, excess inventory, and opportunities for improvement. Work with Manufacturing to recommend increases or decreases in production based on demand and available inventory. Monitor raw materials and finished goods and help investigate inventory discrepancies. Maintain and support inventory policies, procedures, and internal controls. Continuously review inventory processes and recommend improvements to accuracy, efficiency, product availability, and cost control. Three to five years of experience in inventory planning, purchasing, logistics, supply chain, order management, customer service, or a related field. Experience working in a manufacturing, food ingredient, distribution, warehouse, or import/export environment. Experience reviewing inventory levels, purchase orders, customer demand, sales forecasts, supplier lead times, or shipment activity. Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Ability to organize work, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines. Ability to communicate clearly with employees across multiple departments. Ability to identify inventory concerns and follow issues through resolution.
