Job Title:
Supply Chain Coordinator Job Description The Supply Chain Coordinator supports day-to-day order processing, shipping, receiving, and inventory activities to ensure customers receive accurate and timely deliveries. This role works closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams to manage orders, maintain organized documentation, and support quoting and purchasing activities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Process incoming customer orders and prepare them for accurate and timely fulfillment. Create shipping labels, packing slips, and other required shipping documentation for outgoing orders. Package and ship customer orders, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and on-time dispatch. Assemble wire harness kits according to specifications and quality requirements. Assist with preparing customer quotes by gathering information, reviewing requirements, and supporting pricing activities. Manage shipping and receiving of materials and products, including coordinating inbound and outbound shipments. Order materials and maintain appropriate inventory levels to support production and customer demand. Monitor inventory, identify shortages or discrepancies, and help ensure stock accuracy. Answer phone calls and respond to customer and vendor emails in a professional and timely manner. Communicate with customers and vendors regarding order status, shipments, and general inquiries. Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation, including orders, shipping paperwork, and inventory records, is organized and up to date. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and support overall supply chain efficiency. Essential Skills Demonstrated ability to stay highly organized with strong attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for basic data entry, tracking, and reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook for professional email communication. Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with customers, vendors, and colleagues. Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems, tools, and processes. Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory, or order fulfillment is preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications Background or interest in supply chain, purchasing, logistics, customer service, or inventory management. Experience supporting order processing, documentation, and recordkeeping. Willingness to learn and adapt to changing processes and customer requirements. Work Environment This position is fully onsite in Long Beach. You will work in a fast-paced operational environment focused on order processing, shipping, receiving, and inventory management. The role involves regular use of computers and standard office software, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook, as well as handling physical materials, packaging, and shipping documentation. You will collaborate closely with team members and interact frequently with customers and vendors by phone and email while maintaining organized records and a structured workspace. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Signal Hill, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
