This position combines transportation operations, billing, administrative support, shipment tracking, driver communication, and customer service. The successful candidate will help ensure that loads are properly entered, tracked, documented, delivered, and prepared for accurate and timely billing. This is a hands-on position requiring prior trucking or logistics experience. The ideal candidate understands the importance of accurate documentation, real-time communication, DOT driver requirements, Hours of Service, and meeting customer delivery expectations. Key Responsibilities Track and trace company drivers and partner carriers using Motive GPS and other available tracking systems. Monitor active shipments and provide timely ETA, pickup, delay, and delivery updates. Create, manage, and update customer orders in LoadStop TMS and customer-facing platforms. Review driver and carrier paperwork for accuracy and completeness. Process BOLs, PODs, receipts, and supporting documents for billing. Upload and maintain transportation documents within the company imaging and recordkeeping systems. Provide daily billing and administrative support to accounting. Verify completed loads are properly documented and ready for invoicing. Monitor delivery appointments and immediately communicate potential service failures. Conduct spot checks on active shipments and company equipment while in transit. Identify and report driver compliance or Hours of Service concerns to the Compliance Department. Escalate accidents, emergencies, service failures, equipment issues, or delivery problems to management. Maintain accurate customer, carrier, driver, and shipment records. Generate routine operational, billing, and customer-service reports. Communicate professionally with customers, drivers, partner carriers, dispatch, operations, and accounting. Assist in resolving service and documentation issues quickly and accurately. Understand regional transportation lanes, major cities, ZIP codes, transit times, and common freight routes. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding company, customer, driver, carrier, pricing, and financial information. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of Full Truckload transportation experience . Minimum 2 years of Transportation Management System (TMS) experience . Working knowledge of Motive (formerly KeepTruckin) or similar GPS/ELD platforms. Understanding of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) requirements. Experience processing transportation paperwork, including BOLs and PODs. Strong computer and data-entry skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced transportation environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to identify problems, communicate exceptions, and follow through until resolution. Reliable attendance and consistent professional performance.
Pay:
