What to Expect
Tesla is seeking a highly motivated and deeply process oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our growing supply chain team. In the Logistics Coordinator role, you will manage critical domestic and international shipments to support Tesla's vehicle production, service and energy distribution, and everything in between. You will gain invaluable experience about Tesla's supply chain and understand our processes from the ground up. What You'll Do
Schedule pick-ups with vendors and monitor shipments in transit. Coordinate most cost-effective means to ship freight within expected requirements
Correctly labeling hazardous materials and providing DG paperwork to vendors
Provide all required shipping documentation (Commercial Invoice, Letter of credit, Ocean Bill of Lading, Service Report Log, etc.) for import and export functions
Process and correct miscellaneous shipment cost issues. Manage time critical deliveries through delivery
Build and grow relationships with internal customers and vendors. Build and grow relationships with Channel Partners and their carriers
Efficiently collaborate with stakeholders and implement changes as needed
Contribute to a worldwide logistics organization by standardizing processes and establishing SOPs What You'll Bring
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferred Dangerous goods trained or certified preferred
Attention to detail and well organized. Strong time management skills. Communication skills (written and oral)
Ability to work well with others. Works well with deadlines
Understanding of transportation limitations and regulations
Flexible schedule (may work some off hours)

Expected Compensation
$27.45 - $34.97/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
