EWOCS provides reliable high-quality communications and innovative IT solutions for the Guardians, Airmen, and Government agencies assigned to Patrick Space Force Base, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, and Vandenberg Air Force Base. Responsibilities Acts as COMSEC Responsible Officer (CRO) and Secure Voice Responsible Officer (SVRO) and perform duties
IAW DAFMAN 17-1302-O, COMMUNICATIONS SECURITY
(COMSEC) OPERATIONS, Chapter 7 to serve as focal points for all COMSEC matters and Secure Voice devices Follow COMSEC requirements
IAW AFSSI 7700, EMISSION SECURITY, AFSSI 7703, COMMUNICATIONS SECURITY

AFSSI 7702, EMISSION SECURITY COUNTERMEASURES
REVIEWS, and report status directly to the COMSEC Manager. Provides user-training to unit personnel who handle COMSEC material and equipment and who perform COMSEC custodian services. Ensure all COMSEC equipment is accounted for on the Custodian Inventory Report. Perform SVRO duties for customers Assist the COMSEC Manager in managing the Delta or installation COMSEC program. Issue COMSEC Material to only properly cleared personnel with a legitimate need. Advise recipients of their responsibility for properly safeguarding and controlling COMSEC material in their possession. Conduct a comprehensive user-training program for all CROs and alternates. Assist with the base Cryptographic Access Program (CAP) and use Cryptographic Management System (CMS) to manage Installation/base's CAP. Ensure the COMSEC account maintains minimum on-hand requirements and holds only COMSEC material requirements and that is mission essential. properly dispose of
COMSEC IAW
established disposition schedule. Maintain the COMSEC account files and prepare and submit accounting reports to the AF COR as required. Ensure new or additional accountable COMSEC and secure voice devices are properly requisitioned. Perform a semi-annual self-assessment of both the main account and all local elements and review CRO and SVRO self-assessments. Keep documentation of the semi-annual assessment pursuant to the Record Disposition Schedule. Maintain hand receipt records of all COMSEC material issued to local elements. Receive and issue all COMSEC materials to CROs and instruct CROs and alternates, in writing, control, and storage requirements of the COMSEC materials. Ensure COMSEC material handled is properly packaged for transportation via Defense Courier Division (DCD) and all received packages are examined for evidence of tampering. Report COMSEC incidents in accordance with the requirements of AFMAN 17-1302-O, Chapter 9 and
CNSSI 4003.
Required Experience/Qualifications Must have 4-7 years experience Must have a strong understanding of COMSEC accountability as well as knowledge of the procedures required for the issue and receipt of COMSEC equipment and materials to include inventory and mailing Must be familiar with COMSEC requirements and procedures to include the acquisition, maintenance, operations and disposition of COMSEC equipment. Preferred Experience/Qualifications CompTIA Security+ Special Requirements/Security Clearance Active DoD Secret Clearance Salary Range

Salary Minimum:
$52,125
Salary Mid:
$ 83,400
Salary Maximum:
