Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Join Our Team We're looking for a detail-oriented Quotations Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll combine your technical expertise with analytical problem-solving to develop accurate, competitive quotations for electrical power distribution equipment. You'll work directly with customers, manufacturers, vendors, and our internal sales team to deliver solutions that help win projects and build lasting relationships. If you have experience with electrical distribution equipment, enjoy solving technical challenges, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Prepare accurate and timely quotations for electrical distribution equipment and power system solutions. Review electrical one-line diagrams, schematics, specifications, and construction documents. Serve as the technical expert for assigned products and customer applications. Develop pricing proposals by working with manufacturers and vendor partners. Analyze project requirements and recommend the best technical solutions. Communicate directly with customers, contractors, consulting engineers, and manufacturer representatives. Review technical specifications and compile supporting documentation for complex projects. Create and improve quotation guides, tools, and reference materials to increase team efficiency. Support and mentor estimating team members on technical applications and best practices. Track estimating performance metrics and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related engineering field. 3+ years of experience in quotations, estimating, applications engineering, or manufacturing within the electrical industry. Strong understanding of electrical distribution equipment, including switchgear, switchboards, industrial controls, or related power systems. Ability to read and interpret electrical one-line diagrams, schematics, specifications, and construction drawings. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office. Preferred Qualifications Experience with ERP, CRM, or quotation management software. Knowledge of UL, ANSI, and NEMA standards. UL Manufacturer Technical Representative (MTR) Certification for UL 891 Switchboards, or willingness to obtain certification within six months. Why Join Us?
