Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a dedicated contract paraprofessional in a dynamic school environment near Arvada, CO. This long-term position begins August 11 and runs through May 21, 2027, offering the chance to make a lasting impact in special education classrooms. Candidates with at least one full year of experience supporting SPED classrooms are strongly encouraged to apply. Experience with significant or severe caseloads will be prioritized. Your adaptability will be key, as assignments may shift across school sites and age groups during your contract. Openings are available with varying weekly hours at both elementary and high school levels. To be considered, you MUST provide two completed Professional RefAssured references at the time of presentation; applications without these references will not be reviewed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum of 1 full year special education classroom experience (required) Demonstrated work with significant/severe caseloads strongly preferred Flexibility to be assigned to different schools or age groups as needed Reliable personal transportation to ensure punctual arrival by 7:40am (elementary) or 8:00am (middle/high) Willingness to assist students with all aspects of personal care, including toileting and diapering Ability to pass district-required fingerprinting/background check; any offenses result in disqualification Professional references (2 completed RefAssured references) required at submission
