Job Summary:

To continue and accelerate our growth, we are looking for a Production Planner/Scheduler to join our Supply Chain Management team. This position focuses on developing processes and procedures for the planning process to ensure material plans and production schedules for all of our operational areas to meet customer requirements for the timely delivery of products and services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement planning systems that will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of services to customers and improve business system utilization. Assist Sales and Operations planning activities to ensure a reliable rolling production forecast/master schedule. Release, manage and complete jobs from ERP System (Epicor). Release and manage service team travel schedule. Assist in continuous improvement strategies for ERP system. Work with Site Leads and Production Associates to manage safety stock level of critical items. Develop full understanding of product/service structure and routing. Communicate production priorities and status throughout the organization by fostering strong partnership with all other functional areas. Plan and execute systems that support customer advocacy and result in increasing levels of customer satisfaction and on time requalification. Other duties assigned by management.

Education & Qualifications:

4-6 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Professional association certifications preferred (CIRM, CPIM, etc.). Excellent organization, planning and communication skills. Experience working within Epicor ERP system or similar system is required. Must be a team player. Advanced Excel skills required.

Advanced understanding of Planning/Scheduling in a customer facing engineering/service environment/manufacturing Demonstrated experience communicating/briefing managers, employees, and customers to maintain a sustainable working relationship Maintain positive, constructive, and cooperative working relationships with customers, co-workers, and management working both individually and as part of a team. Experience engaging with cross-functional teams including technicians, manufacturing engineers, process engineers, quality, production leads, supply chain process owners, Flexible and adaptable in coping with pressures, deadlines, and rapidly changing situations, ability to work independently.

Extended hours may be necessary during high volume periods.

$80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
