Manager, Vendor Relations First Onsite - US - 3.4 Greenwood Village, CO Job Details Full-time $70,000 - $80,000 a year 6 hours ago Qualifications Vendor relationship building Supervising experience Full Job Description A Day in the Life of a Manager of Vendor Relations As the Manager of Vendor Relations, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating and managing relationships with external vendors and suppliers to support our organization's goals. Your day will involve identifying and selecting vendors, negotiating terms, and monitoring their performance to ensure compliance with our standards. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that vendors meet those requirements effectively. Additionally, you will address any issues or disputes that may arise, working towards resolutions that align with our organizational objectives. Evaluating vendor performance and making recommendations for improvements or changes will also be key responsibilities in your role.
Responsibilities:
Serve as primary contact for vendors throughout onboarding and compliance Manage subcontractor applications, documentation, and ongoing status tracking Review and maintain vendor records in NetSuite and BOLT; ensure compliance with MSAs, COIs, and surveys Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and stakeholders to negotiate agreement changes and resolve issues Conduct audits of vendor documentation and insurance certificates Support vendor recruitment, onboarding, and exception management, including urgent AWE requests Partner with Accounting on vendor inquiries and maintain subcontractor insurance filing systems Track vendor relations metrics, prepare monthly scorecards, and recommend process improvements Travel up to 10% as needed
Experience & Education:
5+ years operations experience 2+years supervisory experience Construction or related background preferred Vendor compliance/vetting preferred Bilingual preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent
