About the Role The Inventory Coordinator III at Sierra Space leverages advanced knowledge of logistics, shipping, and inventory management to oversee and optimize inventory processes. Their expertise in MRP systems, proficiency in standard business processes, and advanced computer skills will contribute to maintaining accurate inventory records and enhancing operational efficiency. The Inventory Coordinator III will also utilize experience o drive process improvements and may be required to support a lead or supervisor to ensure seamless inventory management across the organization. In this role, you will maintain and manage accurate inventory records using advanced MRP systems and inventory management databases while performing logistics operations, including receiving, stocking, and distributing inventory items. You will conduct comprehensive inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity. Utilizing advanced computer skills and MS Office tools, you will manage and analyze inventory data, problem-solve complex inventory discrepancies, and follow standard business processes to resolve issues efficiently. You will communicate concisely and effectively, both in written and verbal formats, with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations. Additionally, you will operate a forklift, ensuring the safe handling of inventory items, and identify opportunities for process improvement, implementing changes to enhance efficiency. Furthermore, you will support and enhance inventory and logistics operations by providing mentorship and guidance as needed. Lastly, you will support shipping activities by preparing and processing shipping and receiving documentation, ensuring compliance with organizational standards. Typically 2+ years of related experience. Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory control environment.Certifications:
Ability to obtain internal certification. Advanced knowledge of logistics, shipping, and inventory management. Knowledge and understanding of MRP systems. High proficiency in following standard business processes. Ability to problem-solve and follow written and verbal directions. Ability to communicate concisely, both written and verbal. Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Office. Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy with numbers. Experience with operating a forklift and ability to obtain forklift certification. Demonstrated experience implementing process improvements.Preferred Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities. Previous experience in a manufacturing and aerospace environment. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with various departments. Pay Range:
$23.42 - $32.20 Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
