We are looking for an experienced Planner to join our team in Danielson, CT. This role is 100% on site. The Planner develops and maintains the production schedules that support customer delivery commitments while maximizing manufacturing efficiency. This role works closely with production, customer service, purchasing and operations to balance demand, capacity, inventory and resources.
The Planner will:
Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer requirements and business objectives Monitor production performance and adjust schedules to respond to changing priorities Collaborate with manufacturing, purchasing, and customer service to resolve scheduling and material issues. Analyze production capacity, inventory levels and demand to optimize workflow. Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and production efficiency. Our requirements for the Planner include: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience is accepted. Experience in production planning, scheduling or supply chain within a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills Experience working with ERP/MRP systems Proficiency in Microsoft Excel A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
