Click here to learn more. Job Description Ensign-Bickford Aerospace and Defense Company is seeking talented college students to join our 2027 summer internship program. Our 12-week internship program is designed to provide real-world and hands-on experience in areas that interest you! As an intern, you will collaborate with industry experts to solve real-world challenges and change the way we do business. Production Planner Interns will work within our Energetics Operations in support of all aspects of production planning including, but no limited to: Continuous improvement Lean Manufacturing Reviewing supply and demand within ERP/MRP systems to support production schedules Support material planning activities, including monitoring raw materials, inventory, and production requirements Responsibilities/daily duties Assist with tracking inventory movements and maintaining accurate inventory records Help identify material requirements and potential shortages that could impact production schedules Support the creation, tracking, and prioritization of shop orders and material kits Coordinate with Production, Material Control, Supply Chain, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to support material flow Assist with maintaining Kanban inventory levels and identifying opportunities to improve material availability
Requirements:
Candidate pursuing a bachelor's degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline . Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience with Microsoft Excel Interest in manufacturing, supply chain, materials management, production planning, Lean Manufacturing, or ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
