About the Role As a Production Planning Lead, you will serve as the architect of our manufacturing throughput, ensuring that complex production schedules align perfectly with organizational goals. By leveraging your expertise in ERP systems and data-driven forecasting, you will drive operational excellence and ensure we consistently meet critical delivery milestones. Responsibilities Design and execute comprehensive production roadmaps that synchronize manufacturing capacity with fluctuating market demand. Act as the primary liaison between procurement, engineering, and shop-floor operations to eliminate bottlenecks and streamline workflows. Drive on-time delivery performance by proactively managing schedule adjustments and resource allocation. Transform raw production data into actionable insights to improve forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency. Spearhead the development of new planning tools and standardized processes to elevate the maturity of the scheduling function. Maintain rigorous adherence to quality and safety standards throughout every phase of the production cycle. Deliver high-level performance reporting to leadership to support strategic decision-making. Required Skills 5+ years of professional experience in production scheduling or manufacturing planning. Advanced proficiency in ERP/MRP software and the Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical mindset with a proven ability to translate complex data into operational strategy. Demonstrated leadership experience with a focus on team performance and process optimization. Expertise in cross-functional collaboration within high-precision manufacturing environments. Preferred Skills Formal certification or deep practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies. Prior experience working within the aerospace or automotive sectors. Direct experience utilizing Epicor or similar enterprise-grade manufacturing platforms. Working knowledge of ISO quality management systems.
