Your primary focus will be managing waste disposal, recycling processes, and ensuring the proper handling of cardboard materials. This energetic position offers an opportunity to contribute to sustainable practices while supporting overall warehouse operations. You will work closely with logistics teams to ensure smooth shipping, receiving, and inventory management workflows. Responsibilities Collect, sort, and dispose of trash and recyclable materials such as cardboard in accordance with company policies and environmental standards Operate equipment like pallet jacks and order pickers to load and unload waste containers and recycling bins Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse by regularly removing debris and ensuring designated waste areas are organized Assist with inventory management related to waste materials, including tracking quantities using inventory management software or warehouse management systems Support shipping logistics by preparing packaging materials and ensuring proper stock levels for order fulfillment Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize waste disposal processes, reduce contamination, and promote sustainability initiatives Document waste collection activities accurately through data entry and record keeping systems Experience Prior experience working in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems is advantageous Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and recording quantities accurately Hands-on experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or order pickers is a plus; certification preferred but not required Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing, and load & unload processes Knowledge of trade compliance and international trade regulations is beneficial for handling shipments across borders Excellent customer service skills to coordinate effectively with team members and support overall warehouse functions This role offers an engaging environment where your efforts directly contribute to operational excellence.
