Job Description:
Robert Half has an exciting opening for a full-time permanent Buyer/Planner with a growing client located in Clearwater, FL! Responsibilities Maintain and update ERP system data to ensure all parts, components, and production requirements are accurately entered and maintained. Add new items and components to Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensure existing BOMs are accurate and up to date. Establish and maintain accurate minimum and maximum inventory levels for parts and components. Review and update order quantities, lead times, and other critical part information within the ERP system. Enter and maintain production forecasts based on anticipated product and assembly requirements. Analyze ERP data to determine the quantity of parts and components required to fulfill large production orders. Evaluate part lead times and availability to help determine purchasing and production timelines. Identify what materials and components need to be ordered based on production forecasts and current inventory levels. Support production planning by analyzing data to determine whether sufficient materials are available to meet upcoming orders and production schedules. Collaborate with internal teams to research and resolve discrepancies related to parts, inventory levels, BOMs, and production requirements. Qualifications 5+ years of buying/planning experience ideally within a manufacturing or assembly environment Experience with ERP systems highly preferred Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP and Pivot Table use Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills Excellent communication skills in order to collaborate cross-functionally between multiple teams If interested in applying, please apply directly to this post for consideration.
