Job Description:
Senior Accountant We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing accounting and finance team. This position will play a key role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist with and manage various aspects of the month-end and year-end close process Prepare and post journal entries Perform balance sheet and general ledger account reconciliations Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports Research and resolve accounting discrepancies Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting functions as needed Maintain accurate general ledger activity and supporting documentation Assist with internal and external audits Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiencies Partner with other departments and provide accounting support as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required 3+ years of accounting experience preferred Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles Experience with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting Strong Excel skills Experience with ERP/accounting systems Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication and problem-solving skills CPA or CPA track is a plus, but not required
