The Logistics Clerk will maintain accurate records, prepare shipping documents, coordinate deliveries, and communicate with drivers, carriers, warehouse employees, and customers. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working with computers, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and process shipping, receiving, and delivery documents. Enter shipment, inventory, and order information into company systems. Schedule pickups and deliveries with drivers and transportation providers. Track shipments and provide updates regarding delivery status. Verify bills of lading, packing slips, invoices, and other logistics documents. Communicate with warehouse staff, drivers, carriers, vendors, and customers. Maintain accurate electronic and paper records. Report shipment delays, damaged products, shortages, and documentation errors. Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation when required. Confirm that outgoing orders are complete and properly documented. Respond to phone calls and emails related to shipments and deliveries. Follow company safety, security, and confidentiality procedures. Perform additional administrative and logistics duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, receiving, warehousing, or office administration is preferred. Basic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with transportation management, warehouse, or inventory systems is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Ability to move throughout an office or warehouse environment. Ability to occasionally lift and carry packages weighing up to 30 pounds. Ability to use a computer, telephone, printer, scanner, and other office equipment.
