Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse activities including Packing, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and material handling to ensure efficient operations. Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback to foster a high-performing work environment. Coordinate the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners safely and effectively. Implement process improvements using lean management principles to enhance workflow, reduce waste, and increase productivity. Maintain accurate inventory control through regular audits and the use of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company policies to create a safe working environment for all team members. Collaborate with logistics partners to optimize distribution center operations and support shipping & receiving functions efficiently. Supervisor Experience Supervise and support daily warehouse and customer service operations. Assign tasks and monitor employee productivity to ensure work is completed accurately and on time. Train and guide team members on company procedures, inventory handling, customer service, and operational processes. Oversee receiving shipments, counting and stocking products, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Monitor the pulling and packing process to ensure orders are completed correctly and efficiently Identify and report inventory, operational, and customer service issues and help resolve them quickly. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. Communicate daily priorities and expectations to staff and provide support when needed. Help ensure company policies, procedures, and quality standards are followed. Experience Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management within a distribution center or similar environment. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations including inventory management systems, logistics processes, and materials handling techniques. Hands-on experience operating forklift trucks, heavy lifting equipment, and other material handling machinery. Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through managerial communication skills and team leadership qualities. Knowledge of lean management practices and continuous process improvement methodologies. Understanding of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety standards is highly desirable.
