This is a full-time in office position. •Schedule [Need to be Flexible]: Mon-Fri - 8 hour work shift - Work schedule will vary, but must be willing to work till 8pm. Job Summary This Configuration & Deployment Technician will be responsible for configuring hardware in anticipation of shipping to customers for installation in vehicles. Additionally, this role prepares packages and ships products to clients.
Essential Functions:
Scheduling and overseeing the life cycle of the configuration/deployment process of new equipment from the time the order is placed, units are configured and shipped. Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues hardware and software related for RMA's. Configuring hardware devices for shipment to new and existing customers. Tracking and recording accurate inventory counts. Packaging and Shipping products to clients.
Required and Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED Required Skills and Experience:
Experience with basic hand and power tools (for example, crimpers, strippers, cutters, mini-torch, and drill) Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills Ability to follow written instructions and keep accurate records of completed work in accordance with company processes and procedures Must be familiar with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite and basic PC hardware.
