Job Description

You must apply using the link below. Please read the whole post Gladiator Windows, Doors & Pergolas is a factory-direct manufacturer and importer of premium aluminum sliding doors, bi-fold doors, pivot entry doors, pass-through windows and pergolas. We ship nationwide to homeowners, builders and contractors. Our orders run $12,000 to $100,000 each. Containers land in Los Angeles and Savannah weekly and monthly, and every one of them has to get broken down, scheduled, trucked, delivered and signed for. Right now one person is doing all of it — selling roughly $400,000 a month and also chasing carriers, filing claims, approving drawings and answering customer texts at 9 p.m. That is why this job exists. We are looking for the person who takes the entire post-sale side of this company off his plate and runs it like it belongs to them. What the job actually is Every day is a mix of these: Setting up shipments. Booking freight, working with transporters, brokers and dispatchers, matching crates to customers, scheduling delivery windows, and staying on top of loads that are in transit. Damage and warranty claims. When a crate shows up with a cracked panel or a bent frame, you document it, file it, and go get our money back. You will be the one pushing carriers who do not want to be pushed. Taking care of customers after they buy. Phone, text and email. Answering questions about tracking links and delivery dates, getting shop drawings reviewed and approved, keeping people calm and informed through a 10-16 week build-and-ship timeline. Answering the phones. New customers call and text all day. You will pick up, get their project details, and book them on the calendar. Some days that is the bigger half of the job. All of it is phone, text and email. This is a call-center-style office, not a retail showroom — no walk-in traffic, no face-to-face selling, no cold calling and no bought lists. Every lead is inbound. Who we are looking for The honest version: we want someone who has already done the unglamorous parts of this. If you have handled warranty claims, sat on hold with a freight carrier, tracked a shipment that went sideways, or run the admin side of a small operation — that experience is the whole reason we would hire you. Sales background is not required at all. We will teach you the product; it is genuinely simple. You will do well here if you are: Organized in a way other people notice. Forty open items, nothing lost. Someone who thinks on their feet when a plan falls apart at 4:45 on a Friday. Unbothered by conflict. You can tell a customer no, tell a carrier they owe us money, and tell us when we are wrong — without it ruining your day. Detail-obsessed. Wrong dimensions on a drawing cost us thousands. Comfortable with software. We run on a CRM, automations and AI tools. You do not have to be technical, but you have to be willing to learn a system and then help us improve it. Looking for a place to stay. We are not looking to fill a seat for eight months. Why this is worth your time We are deliberately small and intend to stay that way. Two years in, growing fast, backed by 24 years of manufacturing and operations experience. That means the person we hire is not employee #47 in a department — they are the department, and they will build it. Salary plus a monthly bonus, plus paid time off. Real upside. This role can grow into running the division, with compensation to match, and additional earnings for anyone who also wants to help on the sales side. No micromanaging. Tell us what you need, then go run it. You will help design the processes, not inherit someone else's broken ones. Our office is in Jacksonville Beach and looks out at the ocean. How to apply We do not screen on resumes. The application below is the screen — it takes about 10-15 minutes and asks about what you have actually handled. Answer it in your own words. Short, specific answers beat long polished ones.
