Duties Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently. Perform order picking using RF scanners and pickers to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly. Manage shipping and receiving tasks by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining inventory accuracy within the warehouse management system. Conduct heavy lifting tasks while adhering to OSHA safety standards to prevent injuries and ensure a safe working environment. Assist with materials handling activities including stacking, palletizing, and organizing stock in designated areas. Support warehouse supervision in maintaining safety protocols, including OSHA compliance and mechanical knowledge of equipment operation. Collaborate with team members on load & unload operations, ensuring timely processing of goods while maintaining safety standards. Experience Proven warehouse distribution experience with familiarity in order picking, shipping & receiving, and materials handling. Prior experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, or pallet jacks is highly preferred. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing. Experience working with OSHA safety regulations to promote a safe work environment. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues when needed. Previous supervisory or team lead experience in a warehouse setting is a plus but not required. Construction or heavy equipment operation background can be advantageous for understanding mechanical systems involved in warehouse logistics.
