Job Description
## Standard Job Description Manages multiple manufacturing planning, material management and support activities within various manufacturing job functions responsible for Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions. These may include but not limited to, Make, Buy, Bill of Material (BOM) Planning, Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Warehousing and Shipping. Over sees production systems integrity and drives inventory optimization to minimize cost. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. ## Basic Qualifications
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
- This position is location at a facility that requires special access.- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.
- Related experience in material handling, control systems and Enterprise Resource (ERP) systems, perferable SAP Hana.
- Lean manufacturing training and/or experience in production environment.
- Position can/may require overtime, extended shifts and the possibility of working on Holidays. Candidates must be willing to support this expectation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Access. ## Desired Skills
- Working knowledge of/and experience with
OSHA 1910.178
- (APICS) Certification
- Previous leadership experience in production environment
- Knowledge of industry-wide best practices and processes of managing material flow throughout the entire production supply chain.
- Previous experience managing a represented workforce
- Perferred disciplines such as
