Job Description

Job Summary The Warehouse Logistics Associate is responsible for managing all warehouse operations from receiving stock to shipping customer orders. This role ensures accurate inventory management, efficient order fulfillment, proper packaging, and timely dispatch of goods while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Inventory & Stock Management Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against purchase orders and delivery notes. Inspect goods for damage, quality issues, or discrepancies. Accurately record all incoming inventory in the warehouse management system. Label, organize, and store products in designated warehouse locations. Conduct regular inventory counts and stock reconciliations. Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or stock discrepancies. Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation. Perform monthly inventory closing activities, including stock reconciliation, variance investigation, and reporting. Order Fulfillment & Shipping Process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Pick, verify, and prepare products according to order requirements. Ensure all orders are complete and accurate before shipment. Coordinate order fulfillment from receipt through final dispatch. Prioritize urgent orders and manage daily shipping schedules. Pack products securely to prevent damage during transit. Prepare shipping labels, packing slips, and related documentation. Coordinate shipments with carriers and freight providers. Arrange palletizing and packaging for domestic and international shipments. Track outgoing shipments and assist in resolving delivery issues. Receiving & Returns Management Unload incoming deliveries and verify shipment contents. Process customer returns and exchanges. Inspect returned products and update inventory records accordingly. Coordinate replacement shipments when necessary. Warehouse Operations Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified). Assist with loading and unloading trucks and containers. Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and warehouse standards. Support warehouse layout improvements and storage optimization. Logistics Coordination Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities. Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments regarding shipments and inventory. Monitor shipment schedules and resolve transportation delays. Ensure timely delivery of products to customers and distribution locations. Administrative Responsibilities Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records. Prepare operational and inventory reports as required. Update warehouse management systems. Assist with inventory audits and process improvement initiatives. Support month-end inventory closing by reconciling stock balances and ensuring inventory accuracy. Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, order fulfillment, or distribution center operations. Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or inventory management software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to safely lift, move, and handle warehouse materials as required. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
