Front Office Coordinator — Clearwater/Dunedin/Palm Harbor Area, FL A privately owned, professional, growing general dental practice in the Clearwater/Dunedin/Palm Harbor area — offering everything from preventive care to advanced procedures like implants, oral surgery, and cosmetic dentistry — is seeking an experienced Front Office Coordinator with office management experience to lead our front office. We are primarily a fee-for-service practice. This is a comprehensive, high-responsibility role covering everyday front desk operations, insurance verification and coordination of benefits, treatment planning and case presentation, payment processing, and third-party financing coordination. We're looking for someone who thrives on structure — a candidate who understands the value of standard operating procedures and takes ownership of consistent, reliable execution across the team. This is a great opportunity for someone with prior office leadership experience looking for a long-term career role with room to grow.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday (alternating Fridays), plus one Saturday per month
Pay:
$30-$38/hour, based on experience What You'll Do Manage everyday front desk operations and serve as the first point of contact for patients Verify insurance and coordinate benefits for patients Present treatment plans, including cost breakdowns and financing options Process insurance claims, payments and coordinate third-party financing Coordinate scheduling to keep the practice running efficiently Handle collections and account follow-up Help open and close the office and maintain daily operations Bring the work ethic and initiative to do whatever it takes to keep the practice trending upward and hitting its goals What We're Looking For 5+ years of dental office management experience, ideally covering treatment coordination, insurance/billing, and scheduling Strong understanding of treatment planning and case presentation with confidence Prior experience managing or overseeing office procedures and workflows Strong follow-through on process and protocol — not just task completion A dependable, punctual, high-standard professional looking to grow with a practice long-term Experience with Open Dental software is a plus Compensation & Benefits $32-$38/hour, based on experience, room for growth with proven performance Performance-based bonus opportunities and benefits will be discussed during the interview process

$32.00 - $38.00 per hour
