$42,500 to $47,500 Reports to: Director of Community Educational InitiativesPOSITION SUMMARY
The employee is responsible for safe operation of Coalition vehicles to facilitate program delivery.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Operates agency vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver program materials and services for ReadingPals, Sleep Baby Safely, CATCH, Literacy, special events, and other agency programs.
- Assist in vehicle maintenance to ensure availability for program operations and other needs.
- Assists in facilities maintenance to promote educational program safety, efficiency, and productivity.
- Assists in programming preparation and operations when needed.
- Organize/maintain annex and program materials such as books. Assist in book tracking, book labeling, and the scheduling and oversight of book-labeling volunteers.
- Effectively handles the delivery and retrieval of agency mail; accurately receives packages and distributes agency shipments and deliveries.
- Follows processes and procedures, while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Attend all meetings, and educational events in a punctual, professional, and contributory manner.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position performs its essential functions both inside and outside the office, performing duties as required in the office; maintaining and operating agency vehicles to meet program requirements.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak or listen. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Staff will on occasion lift items up to 25[KB1] lbs. while completing functions.POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time exempt position. The hours of operation of the Coalition are 7AM-6PM Monday through Thursday, and 8AM - 12PM on Fridays. This position will be required to work some evening and weekend hours as program needs demand.TRAVEL:
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected .MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma required.
- Valid Florida CDL B or Higher License Maintain schedule flexibility for evening and weekend activities.
- Adhere to all Early Learning Coalition of Manatee County policies and procedures.
- Deemed qualified for employment through Level II Background Screening process.
