Job Description

Overview This position is responsible for ensuring a consistent and adequate supply of materials to support manufacturing operations. The role works closely with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to maintain optimal inventory levels across manufacturing locations. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical and technical skills and thrives in a fast-paced, lean environment. Duties
  • Maintain multiple planning and production trackers accurately to support uninterrupted production flow.
  • Develop and maintain analytics related to deliveries and supplier performance.
  • Analyze component requirements and submit purchase requests through the MRP system.
  • Ensure raw materials are ordered within required lead times to support manufacturing schedules.
  • Prioritize component deliveries based on production deadlines and business needs.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to planning processes and material availability.
Essential Functions :
  • Maintain production trackers with accurate inventory and purchase order information.
  • Support the Sr. Planner in reviewing MRP demand signals and determining purchase requirements.
  • Review material and supply requirements for each manufacturing location and initiate planned system transfers as needed.
  • Create transfer requests in the system in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to facilitate transfers from replenishment warehouses to subcontractors.
  • Monitor delivery dates with logistics and confirm that materials are expected to arrive within required timeframes.
  • Balance inventory loads per warehouse to ensure fulfilment.
  • Review transfer requests weekly with the logistics team and communicate any potential delays to manufacturing.
  • Prepare vendor performance reports focused on on-time delivery metrics.
Skill Requirements :
  • Ability to work collaboratively, perform effectively under pressure, and maintain a professional presence.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Effective business communication skills, including strong written, verbal, and active listening abilities, along with foundational office, mathematical, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in report writing, basic statistical analysis, and presentation delivery.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and formulas; proficiency in PowerPoint is also preferred.
  • Ability to manage complex schedules, competing priorities, and time-sensitive deliverables.
Education Requirements and Experience Preferences :
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in a consumer-packaged goods environment, preferably within the health and beauty industry, is a plus but not required.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced capability in Excel.
  • Ability to solve problems effectively and communicate across functions and with leadership.
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and commitment to supporting internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in response to changing priorities, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while supporting cross-functional teams.

Pay:
$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
