Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Material Coordinator to join our dynamic team. Duties Manage materials procurement using ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS to ensure timely availability of components for production. Oversee inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels across warehouses. Coordinate with suppliers to manage contracts, monitor supplier performance, and facilitate effective supplier management. Support production scheduling and planning by providing accurate materials data and demand forecasts through inventory management systems. Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to streamline supply chain processes. Maintain detailed records of purchasing activities, inventory movements, and contract documentation using spreadsheets and Microsoft Office tools. Monitor MRP (Material Requirements Planning) outputs to align materials availability with production needs while implementing lean manufacturing principles. Qualifications Proven experience in inventory management, supply chain management, or materials coordination within a manufacturing environment. Strong technical proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS; experience with inventory management systems is essential. Demonstrated ability in purchasing, procurement, and supplier management to optimize supply chain operations. Familiarity with production planning, demand planning, and manufacturing company practices. Excellent cross-functional communication skills to coordinate effectively across departments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and inventory control techniques to enhance efficiency.
