POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator supports the safe, accurate, and timely flow of materials through AROL North America's warehouse operations. This hands-on role coordinates receiving, inventory control, packing, shipping, documentation, and customer shipment follow-up while maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-focused workplace.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain accurate inventory records and complete daily cycle counts. Receive and unload incoming materials; compare packing slips with purchase orders and investigate discrepancies. Sort, pack, wrap, secure, and label parts and pallets according to company procedures. Prepare freight bills, shipping labels, waybills, and supporting documentation for domestic and international shipments. Process shipments through FedEx, UPS, USPS, and other freight carriers. Compile completed waybill packages with shipment information and customer purchase orders, and submit them to the Accounting team daily. Communicate professionally with customers regarding shipment delays, delivery confirmation, and shipping-related issues. Research purchase orders and shipments that may be delayed, escalating concerns when appropriate. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse, including shelves, pallet areas, and workstations.
QUALIFICATIONS & CORE COMPETENCIES
Working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory practices, and safety procedures. Comfort using warehouse data systems, email, and standard computer applications. Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely; forklift experience is preferred. Strong organization, attention to detail, prioritization, and time-management skills. Clear, respectful written and verbal communication with customers and colleagues. Dependable, responsive, and able to follow direction through completion. Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple deadlines.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This role requires regular standing, walking, lifting, climbing, pulling, and pushing throughout the workday, including the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
