Responsibilities Safely operate passenger vehicles such as vans, shuttles, limousines, and personal vehicles on designated local routes or client-specific trips Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, luggage handling, and addressing inquiries in a courteous manner Adhere strictly to traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and company policies to ensure safety at all times Use GPS navigation systems to follow optimized routes and communicate effectively with dispatch or clients for timely pickups and drop-offs Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to guarantee vehicle safety and cleanliness before each trip Handle heavy lifting when assisting passengers with mobility needs or luggage while maintaining proper manual handling techniques Maintain clear communication with clients and team members to coordinate schedules, address concerns, and ensure smooth operations Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, shuttle driver, chauffeur, or in similar passenger transportation roles Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type operated; clean driving record required Valid Class B Commercial Driver's license (CDL) with passenger (P) endorsement and current DOT Medical Examiners Certificate required for charter bus operators Experience operating passenger vans or other passenger vehicles preferred Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and local driving routes to ensure efficient trip planning Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety standards, and state transportation regulations governing passenger vehicles Excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse clients and team members effectively Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when needed; physically capable of manual handling tasks associated with passenger service Prior experience in customer service roles that require professionalism and positive client interactions is a plusJoin us as a Passenger Transportation Specialist and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to safe travels and memorable customer experiences!
