Job Description
PRODUCTION CONTROL PLANNER
Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find an experienced Production Control Planner in Georgia. In this role, you will support production operations by coordinating production plans, monitoring raw materials and inventory.IN A PRODUCTION CONTROL PLANNER JOB, YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Maintaining reports and databases for raw materials and production supplies, including resins, pallets, cores, and other direct materials.
- Reserving materials in IFS and preparing production order packages and shop orders.
- Supporting warehouse management with purchase order requests.
- Maintaining RMA reports and other production-related tracking documents.
- Organizing reports and trackers for customer complaints, special requests, and production issues.
- Monitoring inventory levels and preparing supply-on-hand and needs reports.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, production planning, or related environment preferred.
- Experience working with an ERP system; experience with IFS is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to develop and monitor production planning measurements.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Comfortable working in a plant environment that may include dust, noise, and chemicals.

Pay Rate:
