Description

The Logistics Specialist role requires strong attention to detail, computer proficiency, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

Audit inbound and outbound loads for accuracy and compliance.

Conduct driver check-in/check-out procedures and provide dock assignments.

Review and verify Bills of Lading (BOLs) and shipping documentation.

Maintain accurate transportation, shipment, and warehouse records.

Create and update Excel spreadsheets to track loads, driver activity, and operational metrics.

Monitor shipment status, investigate discrepancies, and communicate with drivers, warehouse staff, and management.

Assist with inventory audits, recordkeeping, and general warehouse support.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience required.

Basic knowledge of shipping, receiving, warehouse, and transportation operations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including creating spreadsheets, tables, and data tracking.

Strong attention to detail, communication, organization, and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

Ability to walk, stand, bend, and move throughout warehouse and dock areas.

Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.

Ability to work safely around warehouse equipment and loading docks.

Schedule & Pay

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with potential mandatory overtime.

Starting pay: $17/hour, with increases based on performance and tenure.
