This role ensures inventory integrity by meticulously verifying shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents. You will be responsible for organizing stock, optimizing warehouse flow, and collaborating with logistics teams to maintain an efficient, high-accuracy supply chain.
Key Responsibilities Receiving & Verification:
Unload incoming shipments and verify item accuracy against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
Packing & Preparation:
Securely pack outgoing orders according to company standards, ensuring products are protected for transit and include all necessary documentation (invoices, packing slips).
Quality Control:
Inspect goods for damage or defects; document and report discrepancies immediately to maintain quality standards.
Inventory Management:
Use inventory management systems (WMS) to accurately record receipts, update stock levels, and assist with periodic audits.
Stock Optimization:
Organize and store materials in designated locations to maximize space utilization and accessibility.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate goods movement and resolve logistical challenges.
Safety & Maintenance:
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and strictly adhere to all safety protocols and lifting techniques.
Minimum Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to safely lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently.
Detail-Oriented:
Exceptional organizational skills and a high level of accuracy in data entry and verification.
Tech Literacy:
Basic computer proficiency and the ability to quickly learn new inventory software.
Reliability:
Strong attendance record and a commitment to workplace safety.
Preferred Qualifications Experience:
Previous background in a fast-paced warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
Equipment:
Valid forklift certification or experience operating standard warehouse machinery.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanners.
Communication:
Strong interpersonal skills for coordinating with internal teams and external vendors. Monday-Friday 7-3:30p 40 hours per week
