Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Community Food Programs Coordinator supports the daily operations and coordination of Elepaio Social Services community food programs, including school and senior pantry initiatives. Under the direction of the Food Distribution Manager, this position assists with food distribution logistics, pantry coordination, inventory management, warehouse operations, and community-based food access efforts. This position serves as an important connection between the organization, pantry sites, volunteers, and community members by helping ensure food resources are distributed safely, efficiently, and with dignity. This position is expected to work within the program directives of the funding source, within the philosophical framework set forth by the Elepaio Social Services Board of Directors, and within the existing network of community service providers and natural helpers.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
1. High school diploma or equivalent education required2. Experience in community programs, food distribution, warehouse operations, logistics, or related field preferred3. Ability to safely operate vans, trucks, or delivery vehicles required 4. Knowledge of Native Hawaiian culture and the Waianae Coast community preferred5.
