Job description: Image Pointe is a family-owned, full-service promotional products company with over 45 years of experience in business-to-business sales and in-house production. Responsibilities:
Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment. Duties include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, picking, and verifying goods and quantities for orders to be produced, recording incoming merchandise or material, and arranging for the transportation of products. Stocking inventory shelves to maintain accurate inventory levels.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as purchase orders and packing lists to verify accuracy. Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes. Work with the inventory management team to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned purchase orders, reporting on back-ordered or missing items. Stocking inventory shelves with items received. Order inventory to maintain minimum/maximum levels. Report on inventory sales and movement. Handling inventory returns for damaged/incorrect items received. Maintain webstore inventory and fulfillment. Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials. Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications. Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter. Contact carrier representatives to make arrangements or to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials. Operate Forklift on occasion Deliver or route materials to departments. Drive company vehicles and or box truck between manufacturing facility and production facility. Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock. Determine shipping methods, routes, or rates for materials to be shipped. Drive continual improvement in quality, productivity, efficiency and cost. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations. Partner with all departments of the organization. Proficient with computers and software. Ability to quickly learn new things on the computer. As needed, maintaining an organized system of files and data for your department. Attending monthly dept. dashboard meetings to review department performance and make recommendations for improvements. Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Exemplary in living out IP values and culture on a daily basis. High School Diploma. 2 years of receiving, shipping, or inventory related experience preferred. Computer experience preferred. Must have a positive, optimistic attitude. Must have a strong work ethic and be motivated by productivity and the feeling of accomplishment from a "job well done". Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment of continuous change and challenge. Must be self-motivated and responsible Very task oriented and able to make efficient use of time Must be clearly focused and have high attention to detail Must be able to communicate with all levels of the organizations to convey information, job status, and problems effectively and dispassionately. Must give full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Must be able to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Must understand how to read work orders and written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents. Must be flexible to adjust to needs of the job depending upon the needs of the team, colleague and supervisor input, and changing demands presented by a varying workload. Must have clean driving record for past 7 years. Must be able to work extended hours as needed.
Pay:
$14.00 - $17.50 per hour
