full-time Looking to get your foot in the door with a well-established manufacturing organization? We're hiring an Order Management Specialist for a temporary assignment through February in Geneva, IL . This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in production planning, manufacturing operations, and cross-functional coordination. In this role, you'll help keep production moving by coordinating schedules, managing customer order priorities, and working closely with Operations, Customer Care, Purchasing, and Quality . What you'll be doing:
- Create and schedule production batches
- Coordinate expedite and delay requests based on customer needs
- Communicate production schedules and changes across teams
- Work with Purchasing to expedite or delay raw materials
- Expedite orders through the system when possible
- Cut and size batches based on order and inventory needs
- Export and format basic reports from an ERP system
- Help identify and resolve day-to-day production issues
- Support cross-functional problem-solving in a collaborative environment What we're looking for:
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple departments
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Comfortable working with numbers, basic arithmetic, and ratios
- Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
