Job Description

SUMMARY Export Receiving Personnel are responsible for managing the intake, verification, and documentation of outbound international shipments. This role ensures that all export goods are accurately received, inspected, and processed in compliance with global shipping regulations and company standards. It involves close coordination with warehouse teams, freight forwarders, and other internal/external departments to maintain efficient and timely dispatch of goods. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication skills are essential.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accurately receive and inspect paperwork, ensuring that the shipments are at the right location Communicate efficiently between Warehouse and Office Personnel. Prepare and verify export documentation, including bills of lading, export declarations, and other documents that are in alignment with customs and trade regulations. Communicate with internal departments to help with scheduling pickups, clarify documentation, and resolve/relay issues regarding shipments. Maintain accurate records of received goods and ensure inventory systems reflect updated status and location of export-bound items. Check paperwork for any inconsistencies/issues that the Warehouse reported regarding shipments. Identify opportunities to improve receiving and export processes to increase efficiency and compliance.
SCHEDULE
Training:
9:00am - 5:00pm (Sundays / Wednesdays off)
Regular Schedule:
10:30am - 7:00pm (Sundays / Wednesdays off)
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics operations Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to read and interpret shipping labels, bills of lading, and export paperwork Strong written and verbal communication skills Flexibility to adapt to shift schedules and overtime hours as required
