In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating production schedules, maintaining accurate production data, monitoring materials and inventory, and communicating with various departments to ensure production runs efficiently and according to schedule. The ideal candidate will have excellent computer skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Bilingual communication skills are preferred but not required for this position. Duties Develop, maintain, and update daily and weekly production schedules to ensure production goals and customer deadlines are met. Enter, update, and maintain accurate production information using ERP, MRP, and other manufacturing management systems. Utilize Microsoft Excel and other computer-based programs to organize, track, analyze, and report production information. Monitor production progress, inventory levels, material availability, and order requirements to identify potential delays or shortages. Coordinate with production, purchasing, warehouse, quality, and management teams to ensure materials and resources are available when needed. Review production data, schedules, quantities, part numbers, and other information carefully to identify errors or discrepancies. Make scheduling adjustments as needed to address changes in production priorities, material availability, staffing, or customer requirements. Communicate production schedules and updates clearly to supervisors, production personnel, and other departments. Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to production planning and scheduling. Identify potential production bottlenecks and communicate issues promptly to the appropriate team members. Assist with improving production planning, scheduling, reporting, and organizational processes to increase efficiency. Handle multiple tasks and changing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Requirements Previous experience in production planning, production scheduling, manufacturing, inventory control, supply chain, or a related field preferred. Excellent computer skills and strong computer literacy , with the ability to learn and navigate new software and systems quickly. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel , including spreadsheets, data entry, reporting, and organizing large amounts of information. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when working with production schedules, quantities, dates, inventory, and other data. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Experience working with ERP, MRP, inventory management, or production planning systems is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with production, warehouse, purchasing, quality, and management teams. Bilingual communication skills English and Spanish are preferred but not required. Ability to identify problems, investigate discrepancies, and communicate issues effectively. Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred. Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a cross-functional team. Must be dependable, organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
