Job Description

Be a part of a world-class academic healthcare system, Ingalls Memorial Hospital as an Ambulatory Supply Chain Associate in our Supply Chain department. This position is a 100% onsite opportunity. You will need to be based in the greater Chicagoland area. Job Summary Utilizing supply chain systems and processes, complete receiving, delivery, ordering, proper storage of goods and/or services to clinical customers within assigned facility, ensuring that all receiving and deliveries are completed daily. Oversee any receiving/delivery discrepancies, works directly with vendors, delivery drivers, supply chain resources and clinical staff, to resolve. Essential Job Functions Utilizing Purchase Order and packing documents, ensure that correct amount and part # are received into supply chain ambulatory operations system. Effectively operates all supply chain management systems including, but not limited to Oracle Cloud, RF Smart, Controltex, Helios, Smartsheet and MS Office. Ensures that all product/services received and delivered through the receiving area are delivered to the requesting location in a timely manner. Responsible for stocking/ordering of supplies and linen to clean supply closets. Oversee outbound deliveries - completing processes in a timely and efficient manner. Performs other duties assigned. Required Qualifications A High School diploma or equivalent is required. Two (2) or more years' experience in the same or closely related position familiar with inventory control, Helios, Oracle, or similar applications. Understanding of the inventory function in a distribution environment. Computer literacy is also required along with interpersonal skills with all levels of people within the organization.
