Job Description

Clerk (Wave Planner) 1st Shift 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday $18.75/Hour Position Summary The Clerk (Wave Planner) is responsible for supporting the planning, submission, tracking, and management of customer orders to ensure efficient warehouse and transportation operations. This role works closely with Operations, Transportation, and Carrier partners to maintain high levels of customer service and order accuracy while meeting productivity and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to enter and process orders submitted by order writers, load planners, and transportation staff. Partner with Operations and carrier partners to ensure customer service expectations are met. Monitor, manage, and review pending customer orders. Provide order status updates to customers as needed. Prepare and generate labels for product picking and shipping activities. Complete and maintain all required documentation related to customer orders. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data entry and order processing. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Required Skills Strong computer and data entry skills. Excellent clerical, organizational, and communication abilities. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and perform well under pressure. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with office equipment and technology. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and other required customer systems. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively across various communication platforms and networks. Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience working in a team-oriented environment preferred. Warehouse, logistics, transportation, or order management experience is a plus.
