Team:
The Supply Chain team is a fast-paced, collaborative group focused on ensuring seamless material flow, supplier coordination, and on-time delivery to meet customer demands. They work closely across functions to proactively manage shortages, optimize inventory, and drive continuous process improvements in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Supply Chain Specialist:
Run customer-specific bill of material checks Compile weekly SMT tracker demand for shortage components Compile supplier commitment/shipment updates within tracker Understand plant usage and customer run-out dates and escalate shortages as needed Address carrier delivery issues for inbound/outbound material. Compile Customer Tracker info as needed Expedite material shortages and provide purchasing support Ensure balance of stock on-hand between plants during shortages Understand material flow within plant - SAP locations and transactions Your profile as
Supply Chain Specialist:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables & V-lookup). Minimum of four years of experience in production/supplier planning and purchasing/supply chain management. Bachelors degree in a related field, an Associates degree in a related field with a minimum of seven years' experience in production/supplier planning and purchasing/supply chain management; or a high school diploma with ten years of experience in production/supplier planning and purchasing/supply chain management. Automotive industry experience. Experience using SAP. APICS certification is a plus. Exceptional data entry skills. Good verbal and written communication skills.
