Material Coordinator /
Production Support Coordinator Location:
Onsite | 2nd Shift (1:00 PM - 9:30 PM)
Requirement:
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Metatarsal safety boots required. Job Summary Seeking a Material Coordinator to support manufacturing operations by ensuring materials and parts are available when needed, coordinating production activities, maintaining inventory accuracy, and helping keep production running smoothly. This role works closely with production, inventory, shipping/receiving, and support teams. Key Responsibilities Coordinate material flow, inventory, and production schedules. Monitor order status and help resolve material shortages. Track inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies. Expedite critical parts to avoid production delays. Support shipping, receiving, and material transactions. Monitor KPIs, delivery performance, backlog, and workflow metrics. Communicate with production teams and cross-functional partners. Assist with audits, training coordination, and process compliance. Identify process improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain SOPs, work instructions, and operational documentation. Support workforce planning, scheduling, and daily department activities. Preferred Background Manufacturing, production, materials, inventory, logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations experience. Experience with ERP/MRP systems. Strong Excel and reporting skills. Inventory control, material planning, and problem-solving experience. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
