Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic logistics team as a Gate Clerk, where you'll be the first point of contact for inbound and outbound shipments at our distribution center. This vital role ensures smooth and efficient operations by managing access control, verifying shipments, and supporting warehouse activities. Your energetic approach will help maintain a secure, organized, and customer-focused environment that keeps our supply chain moving seamlessly. Whether coordinating with drivers or supporting inventory accuracy, your contribution will be essential to our success. Responsibilities Manage entry and exit points by verifying credentials for employees, vendors, carriers, and visitors to ensure authorized access. Process inbound and outbound shipments accurately using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RFID scanners. Assist with shipping & receiving tasks, including load & unload activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Support order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment using RF scanners, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and order pickers. Maintain precise records of all transactions through data entry into ERP systems such as AS400 or similar inventory management software. Conduct routine inspections of the yard and gate area to uphold security protocols and safety procedures. Collaborate with warehouse operations teams to support inventory management, stock replenishment, and logistics coordination. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in inventory management software and shipping logistics. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400, and inventory management processes. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and shipment documentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and communication purposes. Valid certification or experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers preferred. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with drivers, vendors, and team members. Knowledge of international trade regulations and trade compliance standards is a plus but not required. Embark on a role that energizes your career in logistics! $20.21 - $21.74 per hour
